Annyssa + Casey are some of the sweetest, most intentional people I have had the pleasure of coming across in the last couple of years. Their relationship has dealt with lots of long-distance and lots of phone call dates and weekend meet-ups. Casey’s job requires him to travel a lot, yet these two have made this work despite this. They have found ways of making time intentional and making memories all along the way.

My wife and I did long-distance for three years. On some level, this commonality of having long distance be a part of your relationship made me gravitate to these two even more. I remember walking away from their engagement shoot just wanting to get to know the two of them deeper than just as their photographer. Annyssa, Casey, my wife, Brooke, and I all hung out in the month leading up to their wedding day. We went to dinner and drinks; we hit it off immediately. Casey and I being the louder significant others, watching our wives just let loose and have a blast together was fun. This bonding, the dinners, drinks, and game nights gave me a more profound sense of what to capture on their wedding day. The relationships, inside jokes, pain points, and joyful moments just gave me a sense of how to walk in and do what I do, telling their story.
